Exodus 1:12

SV	Maar hoe meer zij het verdrukten, hoe meer het vermeerderde, en hoe meer het wies; zodat zij verdrietig waren vanwege de kinderen Israels.
WLC	וְכַאֲשֶׁר֙ יְעַנּ֣וּ אֹתֹ֔ו כֵּ֥ן יִרְבֶּ֖ה וְכֵ֣ן יִפְרֹ֑ץ וַיָּקֻ֕צוּ מִפְּנֵ֖י בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
Trans.	wəḵa’ăšer yə‘annû ’ōṯwō kēn yirəbeh wəḵēn yifərōṣ wayyāquṣû mipənê bənê yiśərā’ēl:

AC	יב וכאשר יענו אתו כן ירבה וכן יפרץ ויקצו מפני בני ישראל
ASV	But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and the more they spread abroad. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel.
BE	But the more cruel they were to them, the more their number increased, till all the land was full of them. And the children of Israel were hated by the Egyptians.
Darby	But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and spread; and they were distressed because of the children of Israel.
ELB05	Aber so wie sie es drückten, also mehrte es sich, und also breitete es sich aus; und es graute ihnen vor den Kindern Israel.
LSG	Mais plus on l'accablait, plus il multipliait et s'accroissait; et l'on prit en aversion les enfants d'Israël.
Sch	Je mehr sie aber das Volk drückten, desto zahlreicher wurde es und desto mehr breitete es sich aus, also daß ihnen graute vor den Kindern Israel.
